Professor Winters on Executive Committee for AALS Agriculture & Food Law Section

Professor Diana R.H. Winters has been named to the executive committee of the Agriculture and Food Law Section of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS).
AALS’s goal is to uphold and advance excellence in legal education, including promoting excellence in teaching and scholarship, academic freedom, and diversity, while seeking improve the legal profession, foster justice, and serve the community.
Professor Winters is associate professor of law and a Dean’s Fellow. She joined the faculty in August 2012. Winters was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Boston University School of Law, where she was also the Health Law Scholar. There she taught environmental law, environmental litigation, and advanced civil procedure. Winters received her Ph.D. in the History of the American Civilization from Harvard University, and her J.D., cum laude, from New York University School of Law, where she was a recipient of a Dean’s Scholarship.
