Professor Drobac Chief Guest at Global Consumerism Conference

Professor Jennifer Drobac presented as a “Chief Guest” at the conference titled “Global Consumerism: Challenges and Possibilities” on February 21 at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law at Punjab, India. Professor Drobac is in India as a Fulbright Specialist during the Spring 2015 semester. As the Chief Guest, she was given the place of honor at the center of the dais during the event.
Professor Drobac writes about her experience in India in her blog. Drobac notes that her Fulbright host, Dr. Shveta Dhaliwal, (at the far left in the photo with Professor Drobac, center, and Professor Gagan Preet) has been invaluable in making her feel at home.
Professor Drobac’s scholarly work focuses on sexual harassment law as well as adolescent neurological and psychological development and the law. Her latest book, Sexual Exploitation of Teenagers: Adolescent Development, Discrimination, and Consent Law, is forthcoming from University of Chicago Press in 2015.
