Shequitta Kelly, ’03, has been sworn in as judge of Criminal Court Number 11 in Dallas, Texas.
Originally from Michigan City, Indiana, Kelly worked as a prosecutor in Allen County for six years before moving to the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office. There she worked as a prosecutor on child abuse cases. It was this experience that she attributes to her desire to run for judge.
