Lacy Johnson, ’81, Selected as a “Savoy Magazine” 2015 Most Influential Black Lawyer

Ice Miller Partner Lacy Johnson, '81, has been selected as one of the Savoy 2015 Most Influential Black Lawyers. The list appears in the magazine’s Spring 2015 issue.
“I am extremely honored to be recognized as one of the Savoy 2015 Most Influential Black Lawyers,” said Johnson. “It is a great achievement to be featured among such a powerful collection of inspirational leaders, who are reaching new heights in business every day.”
Johnson's primary areas of practice focus on public affairs services where he serves as co-chair to the Public Affairs and Gaming Group.
Before joining Ice Miller, Johnson served as Lt. Colonel and deputy superintendent for Support Services for the Indiana State Police, director of security for the Indiana State Lottery and liaison with the Indiana General Assembly. Johnson is a former Lt. Commander of the United States Naval Intelligence Reserves.
He currently serves as a member of the Congressional Black Caucus Political Education and Leadership Institute and the United States Democratic Black Caucus PAC Board. He is also a Democratic National Committee at-large member.
