IU McKinney 1L Jasmine Ivy-Dede Named Bose McKinney & Evans Diversity Fellow for 2015
03/25/2015
Jasmine Ivy-Dede, a first-year student at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, has been selected as the participant in the Bose McKinney & Evans Diversity Fellowship program for 2015.
In addition to her studies at the law school, Ivy-Dede is working toward a master of arts in public affairs/public management through the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
As part of her fellowship, Ivy-Dede will receive a paid internship at the law firm for up to two summers, receive a $5,000 scholarship for each internship, and be paired with a professional mentor from Bose McKinney & Evans. The program was created to assist students from historically under represented backgrounds at IU McKinney who maintain a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
"We are honored to have a quality candidate like Jasmine joining us," said Jeff Gaither, ’83, managing partner of Bose McKinney & Evans. "Our diversity fellowship is new, but it is already quite competitive. We look forward to mentoring Jasmine, and future winners of the fellowship, to be the next generation of legal leaders here at the firm."
