Lucy Frick, a 3L at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, was the recipient of one of IUPUI’s “Outstanding Women Student Leader” awards. The awards are presented by the IUPUI Office for Women and the Office of Student Involvement. Awards were presented at the Campus Center on March 26. The ceremony also was held in honor of Women’s History Month. (In the photo are Professor Jennifer Drobac, left, and Lucy Frick, right.)
“I was honored to receive this campus-wide award,” Frick said. “There were a lot of impressive students nominated. I also was honored that someone thought to nominate me.”
Professor Jennifer Drobac nominated Frick for the award.
“She’s constantly thinking about other people,” Professor Drobac said regarding why she chose to nominate Frick for the honor. “Whether it’s LGBT rights, or someone who needs help in class, she’s a tremendous advocate, friend, and leader.”
