Professor Drobac Comments on RFRA for Statewide Legal Newspaper
04/09/2015
The repercussions of Indiana’s recently passed and amended Religious Freedom Restoration Act are uncertain, yet some believe that the state’s new measure does not specifically prohibit discrimination, and extends the potential for discrimination to anyone.
Professor Jennifer Drobac talked about the potential implications of the new law, which will take effect July 1, in a news story in the April 8, 2015, issue of Indiana Lawyer.
Professor Drobac was recently in India as a Fulbright Specialist. Her scholarly work focuses on sexual harassment law as well as adolescent neurological and psychological development and the law. Her latest book, Sexual Exploitation of Teenagers: Adolescent Development, Discrimination, and Consent Law, is forthcoming from University of Chicago Press in 2015.
