04/14/2015
The Jewish Law Students Association hosted a Passover "Freedom" seder on April 9 for 25 participants in the Faculty Lounge, where they recounted the Israelites' journey from slavery to freedom.
Participants were encouraged to reflect on how their position as legal leaders could help address and alleviate oppression and structural injustices occurring today. The event was organized by JLSA officers Reva Weiss and Michelle Yockelson.
Attendees included Professors Frank Sullivan, Jr., Fran Quigley, and JLSA advisor Robert Katz, who said that "I was kvelling for our students and school the whole evening."
