Professor Gerard Magliocca received a letter from retired United States Supreme Court Justice David Souter indicating that his papers would be made available on the 50^th anniversary of his death, not the 50^th anniversary of his retirement as has been commonly believed. Professor Magliocca noted on the blog Concurring Opinions that he had received the information directly from Justice Souter. The exchange was also the subject of an article in the National Law Journal.

Professor Magliocca is the Samuel R. Rosen Professor of Law, and a noted expert in constitutional law.
