Steve Williams, '74, Honored with ITLA Lifetime Achievement Award

Steve Williams, ’74, of Terre Haute, has been named the 2015 Lifetime Achievement honoree by the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA).
A magna cum laude graduate of IU McKinney, Williams has been named to “Best Lawyers in America” every year since 1995, and has twice received ITLA’s Trial Lawyer of the Year award. He is a certified Civil Trial Advocate and a Civil Pretrial Practice Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He was named a Sagamore of the Wabash in 1990, received the Alan Rankin Award for Leadership from the city of Terre Haute in 1997, and received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Indiana State University in 1999.
In addition to being known for his trial practice, Williams has been active in the Terre Haute community for over 30 years with organizations including Terre Haute Boys & Girls Club, United Way of the Wabash Valley, Terre Haute Rotary Club, Big Brothers – Big Sisters Vigo County, and Vigo County Youth Soccer among others.
