IU McKinney SJD Candidate Alharbi Speaks about Women's Employment Rights in Saudi Arabia

Rakan Fahad Alharbi, Sr., an S.J.D. candidate at IU McKinney, recently gave a lecture to students and professors of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law concerning women’s employment rights in Saudi Arabia.
Alharbi talked about the future of women’s rights relating to employment in Saudi Arabia in light of labor laws and developments over the last decade, and talked about why the violations of women’s rights occurred there. Women’s rights is the subject of his dissertation, titled “The Rights of Women in Saudi Arabia under Islamic Law and International Human Rights Law.”
