Professor Roisman Letter on Affordable Housing Published in “New York Times”

Professor Florence Wagman Roisman’s letter on changes that need to be made in order for affordable housing to be constructed in low-poverty, high-opportunity neighborhoods was published in the May 20 edition of the New York Times in print and online.
In the letter, Professor Roisman also alludes to the case Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs v. The Inclusive Communities Project, Inc., which is currently under consideration by the United States Supreme Court. Professor Roisman is on the board of the Inclusive Communities Project, Inc.
Professor Roisman is the William F. Harvey Professor of Law. She teaches courses on property, the civil rights movement, discrimination and segregation, administrative law, real estate finance, housing & development law, comparative housing law, and homelessness and the law.
