Judith K. Wright, ’84, a lecturer in business law at the Kelley School of Business Indianapolis, was awarded her second Indiana University Trustees Teaching Award during the 2015 commencement ceremony. She also received the honor in 2013.
Wright joined Kelley in 2002 as an adjunct professor, joining the staff full-time as a lecturer in 2010. She also served as an adjunct professor at IU McKinney from 2006-2010. She worked in several leadership positions, including as chief operations officer, during her 17-year career with Hillenbrand Industries. In addition to teaching Commercial Law to both graduate and undergraduate students, Wright serves as coordinator for Kelley’s Business Foundations Certificate Program, as well as the school’s Business Minor Program.
The Trustees Teaching Awards were established to honor individuals who have a positive impact on learning through the direct teaching of students, particularly undergraduates. Honorees must have demonstrated a level of teaching excellence and are required to submit a teaching dossier in support of their nomination.
