Mohamed Abdelaal, LL.M. '11, S.J.D. '15, Publishes Recent Scholarship

Mohamed Abdelaal, LL.M. ’11, S.J.D. ’15, has had some recent scholarship published, and anticipates some additional work that will be posted soon.
His article titled "Leadership Accountability in Islam: Islamic Standards for Holding the Executive Accountable for Official Misconduct" was recently published in the Global Journal of Comparative Law. http://www.brill.com/global-journal-comparative-law Abdelaal’s article titled "Holding the President Accountable in Egypt: Impeachment A Losing Case" will appear in the Baltimore Journal of Intentional Law http://law.ubalt.edu/academics/publications/internationallaw.cfm in Fall 2015. In addition, he reports that a book chapter titled “Constitutional Religion Freedom in Post-revolutionary Egypt," will be published soon.
Abdelaal participated in the Milan Comparative Constitutional Law Workshop held at the University of Milan Faculty of Law on May 4, as well as the African Consortium on Law & Religion at the University of Namibia Faculty of Law, in Windhoek, Namibia May 14-19.
Abdelaal will teach at IU McKinney during the Spring 2016 semester.
