Professors Dutton, Huffman, and Ryznar Receive Grant to Create Peer Review Model for Online Courses

Professors Yvonne Dutton, Max Huffman, and Margaret Ryznar received a $2,500 grant to create a peer review model for online courses to ensure program effectiveness. The grant is from the IUPUI Program Review and Assessment Committee. The grant builds on “our innovations in the online teaching area,” said Professor Ryznar.
Professor Dutton is an associate professor of law, Dean’s Fellow and Grimes Fellow. She teaches comparative law, international law, international criminal law, evidence, criminal law, and criminal procedure.
Professor Huffman directs IU McKinney’s online teaching efforts. An expert in antitrust law, he also directs the law school’s Corporate and Commercial Law graduate certificate program. He teaches antitrust, bankruptcy, and commercial law courses. He won IU’s Trustee’s Teaching Award in 2013.
Professor Ryznar is an associate professor of law, Dean’s Fellow, and Grimes Fellow. She teaches family law; international and comparative family law; juvenile law; income taxation of individuals, fiduciaries and business associations; and trusts and estates. In addition to contributing to the Huffington Post, she edits the Family Law Prof Blog.
