Andrew Kossack, '07, Named Commissioner of Indiana Department of Revenue

Andrew Kossack, ’07, has been named Commissioner of the Indiana Department of Revenue. Currently at the department as chief of staff, he oversees the business support divisions, including finance, information technology, public relations, human resources, and project management.
Before joining the Department of Revenue, Kossack served as general counsel for the Indiana Office of Management and Budget, and as education and workforce policy director in the Office of Governor Mike Pence, ’86. Kossack began his career in state government as public access counselor under Governor Mitch Daniels, after working at Indianapolis law firm Barnes & Thornburg. Kossack also served as deputy policy director with the Foundation for Excellence in Education.
