Adjunct Professor at IU McKinney Discusses American Senior Communities Case

Steven Pratt, ’83, a lawyer at Hall Render Killian Heath & Lyman and an adjunct professor at IU McKinney, talked about the FBI raid of American Senior Communities CEO Jim Burkhart with WTTV in Indianapolis for a story that aired September 15.
In the television news story, Pratt urges families with loved ones being cared for in the facilities to not panic, and talks about the federal government’s announced trend to focus on individuals involved in white-collar crime, rather than whole companies.
Pratt teaches the courses “Health Care: Fraud and Abuse Regulation,” and “Topics in Health: Medicare & Medicaid Payments.”
