PLSG Fellow Heather Kinser Letter-to-Editor on Symposium Topic Appears in Newspaper

Heather Kinser, one of the 2015 Program on Law and State Government Fellows, wrote a letter-to-the-editor on the subject of this year’s symposium that was published in the September 21 edition of the Indianapolis Star.
Kinser is a former teacher, and shares her experiences working in a classroom where her students were removed from class by school police officers.
The PLSG symposium, “Rupturing the School-to-Prison Pipeline: State Government Efforts toward Expungement Reform” will be held at IU McKinney September 25.
