IU McKinney Professor Elected Fellow of Canadian Academy of Health Sciences

Professor Eric M. Meslin, Ph.D. director of the IU Center for Bioethics, associate dean of the IU School of Medicine, and professor of bioethics and law at IU McKinney, has been elected a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences. Fellows are recognized for their innovative leadership, research excellence, and commitment to advancing academic health science.
Professor Meslin was one of 35 new fellows elected for 2015, and the only one based in the U.S., to be inducted into the organization at its annual meeting in Ottawa on September 17. He is the founding director of the IU Center for Bioethics, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2011.
