Shane Evans, ’15, has been elected mayor of Delphi, Indiana. He’s one of the youngest candidates ever to be elected to the mayor’s office in Indiana. He ran as an independent.

Evans said in a news story published November 3 in the Lafayette Journal & Courier that his first goal will be to continue to upgrade the city, in addition to its downtown. He hopes to put a capital improvement plan in place that will address city streets, alleys, and sidewalks.
