IU McKinney Criminal Procedure Moot Court Team Shines in San Diego
11/17/2015
IU McKinney 3Ls Kate Bacon and Tricia Hall competed in the National Criminal Procedure Tournament in San Diego November 5 through 8.
The team was coached by Professor Lahny Silva, who noted that this particular moot court is “one of the most competitive and difficult tournaments in the country.” The event was held at the University of San Diego School of Law. “With their impressive efforts preparing for the competition and their advocacy during the moots, the team stood out to many of the judges,” Professor Silva said. “They were nothing less than fantastic! They both received almost perfect scores in two of the four of the preliminary rounds. They were professional, smart, and wonderful advocates.”
