Islamic Law Association Elects New Officers

The Islamic Law Association, led by its outgoing president Omar Alsunaid, elected a new set of officers for 2016 on November 23.
S.J.D. candidate Alhadi Altower was elected president, LL.M. student Moustafa Alameldin will be vice president, J.D. student Hannah Croucher will serve as secretary, S.J.D. candidate Rakan Alharbi was elected treasurer, LL.M. student Faisel Emad Sadat was chosen to be public relations officer, and S.J.D. candidate Mohammed Alduaylij will serve as the group’s Student Bar Association representative.
The following ILA members will continue to serve in their capacity as elected board members: Altower, S.J.D. candidate Mohammed Almushaigeh, S.J.D. candidate Abdullah Balbead, and Alharbi.
The ILA also re-elected Perfecto “Boyet” Caparas, LL.M. ’05, associate director of graduate programs at IU McKinney, as ILA adviser.
