Professor Roisman Letter on Foreclosure Published in Indianapolis Star

Professor Florence Wagman Roisman’s letter to the Indianapolis Star in support of its series on abandoned housing was published in the newspaper December 8. In the piece, she takes issue with a suggestion by an Indiana senator that calls for abandoning judicial foreclosure in favor of power-of-sale foreclosure, saying that homeowners and the public would be harmed by the measure.
Professor Roisman is the William F. Harvey Professor of Law and an expert on housing law. She was honored with the Elizabeth Hurlock Beckman Award in November for her teaching and for being an inspiration to her students.
