Three IU McKinney Alumni Part of New Indy Mayor Administration

Andrew Mallon, '01, Timothy Moriarty, ’11, and Ahmed Young, ’11, are part of the newly-inaugurated Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett administration. A story about Mayor Hogsett’s administration was published in the Indianapolis Recorder.
Mallon will serve as corporation counsel. He comes to the city from Drewry Simmons Vornehm, where he represented government agencies across the state. Mallon previously served as director of the Marion County Election Board and assistant corporation counsel for the City of Indianapolis.
Moriarty will serve as special counsel to the mayor. He joins the city after working at Faegre Baker Daniels in the areas of complex litigation, municipal law, and corporate internal investigations.
Young will be the director of the Office of Education Innovation. He began his career in education, teaching for seven years in Indianapolis and New York City before coming to the law school.
