Judge Miller,'75, to Retire after Spending Career on the Bench

Judge Robert Miller, Jr., ’75, is having a milestone month. He will take senior status on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, South Bend Division, on January 11. He’ll commemorate the 30th anniversary of his swearing in to that post on January 30. A story on Judge Miller’s upcoming retirement was published in Indiana Lawyer.
Judge Miller has spent his career on the bench, with the exception of the year he spent working as a clerk. He was a St. Joseph Superior Court judge for 11 years prior to taking the federal bench.
