IP Center Distinguished Lecture Series to Cover Patent Trial and Appeal Board

The next event in IU McKinney’s Center for Intellectual Property and Innovation Distinguished Lecture Series will examine the topic “Insights to PTAB/IPR.” The event will be on January 26 in the Wynne Courtroom at Inlow Hall.
Speakers Scott McKeown of Oblon, Megan Doretenzo of Cummins, and Carrie A. Beyer of Drinker Biddle will talk about inter partes review, a trail proceeding before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Their discussion will be moderated by Dennis Schell of SmithAmundsen.
The event is co-sponsored by the IP Center and the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section.
The event will begin at 5 p.m. in the Inlow Hall Wynne Courtroom at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. The lecture is free and open to the public, and carries with it 1.5 hours of continuing legal education credit. Registration is required via the law school’s website.
