Stephen Stitle, '70, Named to Central Indiana Business Hall of Fame

Stephen Stitle, ’70, managing partner, Indiana operations, Smith Amundsen, is among those named to the Central Indiana Business Hall of Fame.
Stitle is a former chairman of PNC Bank, Indiana, and the former president of National City Bank in Indiana and executive vice president of National City Corporation. He held executive positions at Eli Lilly and Company for 25 years before moving to the banking industry. A cum laude graduate of IU McKinney, he is a member of Smith Amundsen’s banking and financial institutions, and business and transactions practice groups.
The Central Indiana Business Hall of Fame Awards Gala was established in 1989 by the Junior Achievement Board of Directors to honor outstanding business leaders who have made significant contributions to the corporate and civic community. The black tie event will take place February 25 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.
