IU McKinney Students Attend AABE Annual Meeting in Chicago
04/26/2016
Marcus McGhee and Dena Jefferson, both of whom are May 2016 J.D. candidates at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, were able to attend the national conference of the American Association of Blacks in Energy. McGhee said his attendance was made possible by the Indiana International & Comparative Law Review (IICLR), and Jefferson's attendance was made possible by NiSource, Inc.
AABE is a national association of energy professionals founded and dedicated to ensure the input of African Americans and other minorities into the discussions and developments of energy policies regulations, research and development technologies, and environmental issues. The event was held April 19-22 in Chicago. The students attended panel discussions on a variety of topics, including the outlook for energy resources globally.
