Professor John Hill’s latest book, After the Natural Law: How the Classical Worldview Supports Our Modern Moral and Political Values, is the subject of a review on the website CatholicCulture.org. The piece was published August 2.
Professor Hill’s book traces the development of western philosophy from classical to modern times. It was published in March by Ignatius Press.
In the review, titled “Don’t discount meaning. It leads to happiness,” the reviewer calls Professor Hill’s work “luminous” and praises it as “deeply engaging.”
Professor Hill holds a J.D. and a doctorate in philosophy, both of which he received from Georgetown University. In addition to being a professor of law at IU McKinney, where he teaches constitutional law, civil procedure, torts, jurisprudence and ethical and legal issues at the end of life, he also is a Grimes Fellow, and an adjunct professor of philosophy in the Department of Philosophy at IUPUI.
