Mary Beth Ramey, '72, Receives Distinguished Service Award from the American Association of Justice

Mary Beth Ramey, senior partner at the Indianapolis law firm Ramey & Hailey, was honored with the Distinguished Service Award from the American Association of Justice (AAJ) at the group’s meeting in San Francisco in Summer 2016. Ramey was honored for her service to her community and the development of the rule of law.
Ramey was the first female to serve as president of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and was awarded Trial Lawyer of the Year in 1985. She is currently in her third term on the AAJ’s Board of Governors, representing the state of Indiana. At the convention, she was also elected vice chairman of the Association’s Budget Committee, of which she has been a member for the last three years.
Ramey serves on IU McKinney’s Board of Visitors.
