Julie Halbig, '03, Named Vice President of Legislative Relations for Indiana Hospital Association

Julie Halbig, ’03, has been named vice president of legislative relations for the Indiana Hospital Association. She will lead the association’s advocacy efforts and represent the state’s hospitals before policymakers at the state and federal level.
Previously, Halbig was vice president of governmental relations at Ball State University. There, she was a member of the president’s cabinet and managed a 28-member division that coordinated local, regional, and statewide outreach and engagement. Prior to her work at Ball State, Halbig served as chief of staff and chief counsel to Indiana House Speaker Brian Bosma, ’84, and the Indiana House Republican Caucus. She has also worked as an attorney in private practice at Hall Render Killian Heath & Lyman, and at Taft Stettinius & Hollister.
