11/02/2016
Lilia Judson, ’75, has retired from the Division of State Court Administration, where she has worked throughout her legal career. A story about Judson was published in the Indiana Lawyer.
Judson began working with the Judicial Study Commission while in law school at IU McKinney, and decided she would rather work in the managerial and business aspects of the judiciary rather than work as a practicing attorney. She became the assistant director of the Division of State Court Administration when it was created by the Indiana General Assembly in 1977. She subsequently served as director, and was named executive director in 1997.
