11/08/2016
IU McKinney Law students will celebrate Philanthropy Week November 14-17. The event is designed to commemorate National Philanthropy Day on November 15, and aims to involve students in the stewardship aspect of philanthropy and educate students on the importance of donor support.
The school’s Development team and student volunteers will be in the law school atrium offering students the opportunity to write thank you cards to donors, get their photo taken with various signs of gratitude, donate canned goods to help IUPUI’s Jam the Pantry effort to stock the campus food pantry, sign up to make thank you videos, and share their love for IU McKinney Law on Social Media.
This is the third annual Philanthropy Week event at the school. There will be contests, music, corn hole, giveaways, and free food in the atrium from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
