James H. Young, '81, Elected to Judicial Nomination Commission/Judicial Qualifications Commission

James H. Young, ’81, has been elected to serve as the next District Two representative on the Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission/Judicial Qualifications Commission.
Young, a partner in the Indianapolis law firm Young & Young, was elected by attorneys in District Two, which is comprised of Adams, Blackford, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Delaware, Grant, Hamilton, Howard, Huntington, Jay, Madison, Marion, Miami, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Wabash, Wells, and White counties. Commission members aid in the recruitment and interviewing of applicants to fill appellate court vacancies and the investigations into allegations of judicial misconduct.
Young will join fellow IU McKinney alumni, Charles Berger, ’72, and John Feighner, ’76, on the commission when Young’s term begins on December 31.
