Two from IU McKinney Named to Governor-Elect Holcomb's Administration

Micah Vincent, ’08, and current master of jurisprudence student Carolene Mays-Medley have been named to key posts in the administration of Governor-Elect Eric Holcomb.
Vincent will serve as director of the Office of Management and Budget, a post he held under Governor Mike Pence, ’86. Vincent has previously served the office as general counsel and as policy director. In addition, he has served as the commissioner of the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance, and worked as assistant general counsel and policy director for Utilities, Energy, and Higher Education during then-Governor Mitch Daniels’ administration.
Mays-Medley has been named executive director of White River State Park; she was named executive director of the White River State Park Development Commission in April. Mays-Medley served as a state representative from 2002-2008, and was former president and publisher of the Indianapolis Recorder and Indiana Minority Business Magazine. In addition, she served as a commissioner and vice chair of the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission.
