Cynthia Carrasco, '06, Lori Torres, '86, Named to Leadership Roles in New State Administration

Cynthia Carrasco, ’06, and Lori Torres, ’86, have been named to leadership roles in the administration of Indiana Governor-elect Eric Holcomb.
Carrasco will serve as deputy general counsel in the Office of the Governor. She has served as Indiana’s Inspector General since her appointment by Governor Mike Pence, ’86, in 2015. Prior to this post, she was executive director of the Office of Inspector General, and the Indiana State Ethics Commission.
Torres will serve as Inspector General in the new administration. She currently serves as chief legal counsel and deputy commissioner at the Indiana Department of Transportation. Prior to this service, she was the Indiana Commissioner of Labor, and she worked as an attorney at the Indianapolis law firm Ice Miller. Prior to joining state government, Torres worked as a lawyer in the regulatory, administrative, and labor and employment areas.
