IU McKinney Professor John Hill’s latest book has been reviewed by the National Catholic Register. The review, urging that the book be in every home, was published online December 27.
Professor Hill’s book, After the Natural Law, was published by Ignatius Press. The work traces the natural-law tradition from Plato and Aristotle to Thomas Aquinas and outlines how modern philosophers have chipped away at it.
Professor Hill holds a J.D. and a doctorate in philosophy, both of which he received from Georgetown University. In addition to being a professor of law at IU McKinney, where he teaches constitutional law, civil procedure, torts, jurisprudence and ethical and legal issues at the end of life, he also is a Grimes Fellow, and an adjunct professor of philosophy in the Department of Philosophy at IUPUI.
