IU McKinney Welcomes 17 LL.M. Students for Spring 2017

IU McKinney welcomes 17 Master of Laws students from around the world as they begin their studies for the Spring 2017 semester. Here’s a chance to meet the students:
Oluwadamilola Eunice Ayoola is from Nigeria, and received her law degree from Babcock University. She was working at a law firm in Nigeria before coming to IU McKinney. After completing her studies, she wants to return to her home country and pursue corporate and commercial law, utilizing her newly gained knowledge to help boost the economy. She is studying the Intellectual Property Law LL.M. track.
Jummai Bala is from Nigeria, and is pursing the Intellectual Property Law track at IU McKinney.
Helga Davila is from Peru, where she received her law degree from Pontifical Catholic University. She was working for Sunat, a tax institution in her home country, before coming to IU McKinney and pursuing the Corporate and Commercial Law LL.M. track. Her goal is to become a law professor once she completes her studies.
Henry Ejenam is from Nigeria and is pursuing the International and Comparative Law track for his LL.M. degree
Melissa Mikhael Hitti is from Lebanon, where she received her law degree from Holy Spirit University of Kaslik. She was working at a law firm in Beirut before enrolling at IU McKinney. She wants to practice international law, specializing in corporate and commercial law, once she completes her degree. She is pursuing the International and Comparative Law LL.M. track.
Sara Ismail is from Lebanon, and received her law degree at Filière Francophone de Droit. She was working as a law clerk at a firm before coming to IU McKinney, and she wants to practice in international business once she finishes her degree. She is pursuing the International and Comparative Law LL.M. track.
Oluwatobiloba Florence Kappo is from Nigeria and received her law degree from Babcock University. She was working as a legal practitioner at a law firm in Nigeria before coming to IU McKinney to pursue the Intellectual Property Law LL.M. track. She wants to become an expert in international intellectual property in Nigeria once she completes her studies.
Talitha Krenk is from Joao Pessoa, Brazil, and received her law degree from Cento Universitário de Joao Pessoa, and did her post-graduate studies in law at Universidade Estadual da Paraiba. She worked as an assessor of one of the prosecutors of the capital of her state in Brazil for almost 4 years before coming to IU McKinney. She is pursuing the International and Comparative Law track. Talitha grew up going with her mom to her law office, and attributes the positive influence of her mother for her career choice.
Lin Dongliang is from Shandong Province in China, where he also received his law degree. He works in Beijing. He’s eager to learn more about American culture while pursuing the Corporate and Commercial Law LL.M. track at IU McKinney He hopes to join a law firm or state-owned enterprise once he completes his studies.
Glorify Batsirai Mandima is from Zimbabwe, and received her law degree from the University of Zimbabwe. She went to law school out of a desire to help entrepreneurs start and sustain businesses. She plans to work toward improving corporate governance in her country, she said, by having an impact on the corporate world. She is pursuing the Corporate and Commercial Law LL.M. track.
Khaled Mehdi is from Lebanon, and received his law degree from LaSagessa University. He was practicing law in Lebanon before coming to IU McKinney to pursue the Corporate and Commercial law track for his LL.M. studies.
Vanessa Mikhael is from Lebanon, and received her law degree from Holy Spirit University of Kaslik. She was working as a human resources director doing legal training at a company before coming to IU McKinney to pursue the International and Comparative Law LL.M. track. She plans to pursue a career as a corporate legal consultant once she completes her studies.
Aron Okubaldet is from Eriteria, where he graduated with a law degree from Asmara University. He also studied at Ohio Northern University. Okubaldet was working as a judge in Eriteria before coming to IU McKinney to pursue the International Human Rights Law LL.M. track. He plans to pursue a career with an intergovernmental, governmental or nongovernmental organization in the field of human rights once he completes his LL.M. studies.
Stephanie Semaan is from Lebanon, and received her law degree from Holy Spirit University of Kaslik. She is pursuing the International and Comparative Law track for her LL.M. studies. She was working at a bank and decided to pursue an LL.M. degree because of her interest in international law.
Cheryl Tawil is from Lebanon, and received her law degree from Holy Spirit University of Kaslik. She was practicing law at a firm in Lebanon before coming to IU McKinney to pursue the International and Comparative Law LL.M. track. She wants to work at an international law firm once she completes her studies.
Rinalda Zgheib is from Lebanon, and received her law degree from Holy Spirit University of Kaslik. She is pursuing the International and Comparative Law LL.M. track, and wants to work as a criminal law attorney in Lebanon once she completes her studies.
