Professor Emerita Kinney Discusses Potential for ACA Repeal on WalletHub
01/27/2017
Professor Emerita Eleanor Kinney commented on the potential outcomes the proposed repealing of the Affordable Care Act will have on states in a story on WalletHub.
“In my judgement, the most popular parts of the ACA are the insurance market reforms in Title I (Quality, Affordable Health Care for All Americans) and the Medicaid program expansion in Title II (The Role of Public Programs). These are the coverage expansions that, if cut, will result in millions of people loosing health coverage,” Kinney wrote in the piece.
Professor Emerita Kinney is the founding director of the law school’s Hall Center for Law and Health.
