Professor Jennifer Drobac spoke along with several Indiana law enforcement officers during a panel arranged by Indiana State Representative Karlee Macer on February 7, 2017 which took place as a Facebook Live event. HB1517 was authored by Rep. Macer, and co-authored by Rep. Linda Lawson and Rep. David Ober.  It seeks to add the criminal offense of indiscretion to sexual relationships between Hoosiers who are at least 23 years of age with minors who are at least 16 years of age.

Drobac participated through an audio connection from England where she is currently on leave as a Visiting Fellow at Clare Hall and at the Faculty of Law at the University of Cambridge. She is in the U.K. researching a new book, The Myth of Consent, that she will write with Professor Oliver Goodenough.
