John Woodard, ’91, of the law firm Wyatt Tarrant & Combs, has received a Client Choice Award for 2017 in recognition of his excellence in this area. The awards are decided by senior corporate counsel, and offered by International Law Office and Lexology. The award criteria focuses on the lawyer’s ability to add real value to a client’s business above and beyond that provided by other lawyers.

Woodard has over 25 years of litigation experience, handling a variety of matters including construction, employment, labor, insurance, environmental, civil rights, administrative law, product liability, toxic torts, public procurement, and all types of business litigation in state and federal courts throughout Indiana and Kentucky. He is a partner on the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution service team. In addition, Woodard has served as counsel to the new Albany-Floyd County Consolidated School Corporation for over 20 years.
