Emily Benfer, '05, Profiled in Legal Freedom Fighter Series

The work of Emily Benfer, ’05, is the subject of a story in Rocket Matter’s Legal Freedom Fighter Series. The piece was published online April 20.
The piece touches on the work Benfer did as a Peace Corps volunteer, and some of the most memorable cases she’s encountered thus far in her career. Professor Benfer is a clinical professor of law and Director of the Health Justice Project at Loyola University Chicago School of Law and Loyola University School of Medicine’s Department of Public Health. Her work was the subject of a lecture presented in March 2017 at IU McKinney as part of the Hall Center for Law and Health’s Grand Rounds series.
