Dan Evans, ’76, CEO Emeritus of Indiana University Health, has joined Faegre Baker Daniels Consulting as a senior director in the health and biosciences group. Evans taught a seminar on “Leadership in Health Care” during Spring 2017 at IU McKinney as part of the Hall Center’s Health Law program. The course provided health law students the opportunity to learn about the challenges of leadership within the highly-regulated health and life sciences environments. He is a longtime member of the law school’s Board of Visitors.

In addition, Ryan Marques, ’10, has joined Faegre Baker Daniels as an associate in the labor and employment group. Marques is the Honorary Consul of Portugal to the State of Indiana. In this role, he is responsible for promoting trade, investment, and tourism between Portugal and Indiana. He meets regularly with state and local government officials and corporate leaders to explain Portugal’s interests. He reports directly to the Embassy of Portugal in Washington, D.C., and performs diplomatic functions as directed by Portugal’s government.
