Joseph D. Lawson, '07, Receives National Leadership Award

Joseph D. Lawson, ’07, who serves as deputy director of the Harris County Law Library in Houston, Texas, has received an Emerging Leader Award for 2017 from the American Association of Law Libraries. The announcement was made May 31.
The award recognizes newer members who have already made significant contributions to the association and/or to the profession, and who have demonstrated the potential for leadership and continuing service. Winners will be recognized at the organization’s 110th annual meeting in Austin, Texas, in July 2017.
Susan deMaine, Assistant Director for Information Services at the Ruth Lilly Law Library, received the award from the group last year.
