IU McKinney Staff Member Named to Marion County Judicial Selection Committee
07/13/2017
Jennifer Thuma, Associate Director of Professional Development and Pro Bono at IU McKinney, has been named to the Marion County Judicial Selection Committee. She was appointed by Indiana House Speaker Brian Bosma, ’84.
The merit-selection committee will nominate judges for the governor to appoint to the bench in Indiana’s most populous county. Judges in Marion County previously were elected after being slated by political parties.
Thuma served as legislative director for former Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, staff attorney for the Indiana General Assembly, and as education coordinator and victim services director for former Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller.
