Evansville attorney Megan Alvarez, ’09, is the subject of a profile on the website “Pressenza.” The story focuses on her practice, and how she became interested in immigration law. The piece was written by Jhon Sanchez, LL.M. ’07, J.D. ’08.
In the story, Alvarez said she typically handles visa applications for clients who have been victims of serious crimes in the United States. The area of human rights has been an interest of hers since her days at IU McKinney, where Alvarez and Sanchez took part in the United Nations Shadow Reports program of the Program in International Human Rights Law at IU McKinney.
