08/02/2017
Professor Diana R.H. Winters has published an article titled, “Food Law at the Outset of the Trump Administration,” in the UCLA Law Review.
In the piece, Professor Winters considers what may be next regarding food policy locally and nationally, considering the current president’s anti-regulatory stance contrasted with the previous administration giving food production reform a high priority.
Professor Winters is associate professor of law and a Dean’s Fellow. Before joining the IU McKinney faculty in 2012, she was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Boston University School of Law, where she was also the Health Law Scholar. There she taught environmental law, environmental litigation, and advanced civil procedure. Winters received her Ph.D. in the History of the American Civilization from Harvard University, and her J.D., cum laude, from New York University School of Law, where she was a recipient of a Dean’s Scholarship.
