Professor Roxana Bell, '11, Named Chair of National Bar Association Young Lawyers Division

Professor Roxana Bell, ’11, has been sworn in as chair of the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the National Bar Association (NBA). The swearing-in took place August 2 during the NBA’s 92nd annual convention in Toronto, Canada.
Professor Bell has served on the YLD board since 2014, first as public relations chair, as vice chair, then as chair-elect. Also during the convention, the NBA announced that the YLD had received the 2017 Division of the Year Award. (In the photo, Professor Bell is in the center with Benjamin Crump, at left, who was the keynote speaker for the event. On her right is Junius Williams, who was the very first YLD chair, who gave closing remarks.
Professor Bell is a visiting clinical professor of Law at IU McKinney, where she teaches Legal Communication and Analysis. She began her legal career with two consecutive clerkships, after which she practiced labor and employment law at Bingham Greenebaum Doll. She joined the faculty at IU McKinney in Fall 2016.
