Story on Tech Entrepreneur Haley Altman, '06, Published in 'Indianapolis Star'
09/12/2017
The story of how IU McKinney alumna Haley Altman, ’06, came to the idea to start her company, Doxly, began with a search for the one document out of the hundreds she had accumulated in the course of working on a multi-million dollar deal.
That late-night frustration sent her on a search for something that could digitize documents, but there was nothing on the market that did exactly what she wanted it to do. Altman co-founded Doxly in 2016. The legal transaction management platform includes e-signatures, closing checklists, and centralized data rooms for clients to follow in order to close a transaction.
In the story, which appeared in the Indianapolis Star, Altman describes leaving her legal job at a law firm, where she had just made equity partner, in order to pursue her new business.
