John Hammond Named Vice Chair of Presidential Nominating Committee

John Hammond, III, ’91, has been named vice chairman of the Presidential Nominating Process Committee for the Republican National Committee. The partner at the Indianapolis law firm Ice Miller is currently the Republican National Committeeman for Indiana, and serves as one of three Indiana members of the Republican National Committee.
Hammond is co-chair of Ice Miller’s Public Affairs Group. A veteran of Indiana state government, he has helped shape public policy on taxes, environmental management, education, tort reform, transportation, insurance, and economic development.
The Presidential Nominating Process Committee is a temporary committee formed to review the rules governing the nomination of the Republican Party’s presidential nominee for next general election in 2020.
